This is computer display territory. Not TVs. Not broadcast gear. These were built for desktop Windows, games, and anything running through a VGA cable. Higher resolutions, higher refresh rates, sharper text. Way more flexible than TVs, but also way less forgiving if your signal sucks.
Most of these are multisync, meaning they’ll take a range of resolutions and scan rates. That’s why they’re still so useful.
This is where you get into: 85Hz+, 1024x768, 1280x1024, higher if the monitor can handle it and super clean motion for PC gaming.
INSANELY Different world from NTSC and your Grandmas kitchen TV.
Less about “what the signal was meant for” and more about how far you can push it.
THIS is my personal FAVORITE kind of CRT.
