I am a local collector in the Greater Pittsburgh region looking for old tube TVs, CRT monitors, and older computers.
If you’ve got an old box TV, a computer monitor, or an older desktop taking up space, I may be interested in taking it off your hands.
I regularly travel through Allegheny, Westmoreland, Washington, Butler, and nearby areas, so if you’re in western PA there’s a good chance I can make something work.
I take old computers for free regardless of condition. Working, broken, missing parts, doesn’t matter. If it’s old computer equipment, especially that classic beige desktop era, I’ll take it.
I also take CRT TVs and monitors. If a TV works and is something I can use, preserve, or collect, I’ll usually take it for free. If a CRT TV is broken, there may be a small fee to haul it away since they are expensive to recycle properly.
If you’re worried about personal files on an old computer, I can permanently and irreversibly destroy all data before anything is reused or broken down.
This is not a junk removal business. This is a personal collection and preservation project. I actually use and document this equipment, and a lot of it still has life left in it.
